NEXT RESET Thursday 14:30 UTC

FH6 Italian Exotics treasure hunt: which weeks actually had a chest

  • Italian Exotics is Series 3, running 16 July to 13 August 2026, four weekly seasons rotating each Thursday at 14:30 UTC.
  • Of those four weeks, 2 carried a treasure hunt that we can source, and 1 ran a collectible instead of one.
  • The chests that did run were in the Nangan and Hokubu regions.
  • There is no clue text to look up. The clue is a photograph, and the only on-screen string is the challenge title.

Every Italian Exotics treasure hunt, week by week

Series 3 ran four weekly seasons. A dash means we have no sourced value for that cell, which is not the same as saying the value is nothing.

Work out which Italian Exotics week a date falls in

The reset lands mid afternoon UTC on a Thursday, so a single calendar day can sit in two different weeks. Put a date in and the board says which season owns it, and whether that week had a chest.

2 of 4 weeks have a logged chest. You have cleared 0 of them.

Italian Exotics runs 16 Jul to 13 Aug 2026. Weeks turn over at 14:30 UTC on Thursdays, so a single date can sit on both sides of a changeover.

  1. Summerweek 1 of 4

    16 Jul to 23 Jul 2026

    Chest logged

The location for this chest is not sourced, so we are not printing one.

    100,000 CR · 3 points

    Full write-up for Nangan

  2. Autumnweek 2 of 4

    23 Jul to 30 Jul 2026

A source says there was no hunt

Neither of the two lists we have for that week contains a hunt. TheXboxHub’s challenge guide runs to fourteen entries, championships, a Drag Meet, a Speed Zone, a Speed Trap and the Eliminator among them, with no hunt. A community breakdown in the same format puts Collectibles, Smash 20 Tank Lattes in Ine, in the three point slot that the Winter breakdown fills with Treasure Hunt, Hokubu Region. Series 1 Winter looks the same way. So the weekly chest is not quite weekly.

One source, so read it as what that source lists: TheXboxHub — Series 3 Autumn playlist (23–30 July)r/ForzaHorizon — Series 3 Autumn breakdown (23 July)

  3. Winterweek 3 of 4

    30 Jul to 6 Aug 2026

    Chest logged

On the side of a parking lot just northwest of the Shikisai-No-Oka flower garden, next to a large garage with water tanks and smaller hardware sheds beside it.

    100,000 CR · 3 points

    Full write-up for Hokubu

  4. Springweek 4 of 4

    6 Aug to 13 Aug 2026

    We have no record

We have no record for this week. That is not the same as saying there was no hunt, and we are not going to write it up as one.

Next: the reset countdown converts that 14:30 UTC changeover into your own timezone, which is the part that decides whether you have tonight or already missed it.

Three things in this game are called treasure

Search results mix them constantly. One well ranked page titled "Forza Horizon 6 Treasure Hunt Locations" is in fact a list of the nine permanent cars. They are not the same thing and only one of them rotates with this series.

The Autumn week ran a collectible instead

This is the part most week by week lists skip. The board above carries the two lists that establish it, so the evidence is a click away and not repeated here.

What is worth saying instead is why the empty week stays in the table. Dropping it would leave three rows and an unexplained gap in the numbering, and a reader would reasonably read that as us having failed to find something. The week is not missing from our records. It is a week the game did not put a chest in, and that is an answer to the question people arrive with rather than an absence of one.

It also changes what the series is worth. Four resets does not mean four chests, so anyone planning around 100,000 CR a week for the run of a series is planning around a number the game does not pay out.

What each week still leaves open

Summer, Nangan
We know the week and the reward for this one and not the spot. Two sources describe a Nangan chest in two different places — Game8 puts it on the shore at the east of the region near the Ford GT Treasure Car, and the write-ups we could not open are reported to put it by the warehouses north-east of the Irokawa Space Centre. Nangan may simply have hosted two hunts in different series. Until we can read both articles ourselves, guessing which one belongs to this week would be worse than leaving it blank.
Winter, Hokubu
GamesRadar’s writer put the difficulty on one detail: the big hay bale scarecrows. If you have not driven past those, the photo is just snow and a shed — which describes most of Hokubu. The chest sits by a small garage building at the car park, overlooking the snow-covered fields.

Watching someone do the Hokubu week

The Winter chest is the one with the most coverage, and it is also the one players found hardest to read from the photograph. Comments under this video run to the same theme as the threads: one player wrote that they complained when the game took them straight to the treasure and now complain that it is so tough to find.

Questions people arrive at this page with

Is there a treasure hunt every week in Italian Exotics?
No, and this is the part most week by week lists leave out. Two independent lists of the Autumn week name no Treasure Hunt at all. TheXboxHub's challenge guide for it runs to fourteen entries with no hunt among them, and a community breakdown in the same format puts a collectible, twenty Tank Lattes in Ine, in the same three point slot that the Winter breakdown fills with the Hokubu treasure hunt. That leaves 2 of the four weeks with a chest we can source. The reset is weekly. The hunt is not.
I went to the location and the treasure chest is nowhere to be seen
Players hitting this have repeatedly solved it by restarting the game rather than by moving. In the threads we read, the person who asked has more than once come back to say a restart made it appear, with one describing trying Horizon Solo first and only getting it after quitting the game entirely. We have not reproduced this ourselves, so treat it as what players report rather than as a tested fix. Before you assume you read the photo wrong, quit to desktop and come back.
Why can I not see the chest icon on the treasure map?
This is reported often enough that it looks like a bug rather than a misunderstanding. Players said the same thing in both the Winter and the Autumn breakdown threads, the chest icon missing in one week and the collectible markers in the next. We have no fix beyond restarting, and no source that explains the cause, so we are not going to invent one.
What is the photo clue text for this week?
There is not one. The clue is delivered as an image, and the only text the game itself puts on screen is the challenge title, "Follow the Photo Clue to Discover the Treasure!". Any site quoting a sentence of clue text is writing it themselves. That is also why this page gives you the region and the board gives you the location where we have one, and there is no clue column at all.
Is the Treasure Hunt the same as the Treasure Hunter achievement?
No, and this trips up enough people that a well ranked page elsewhere titled "Forza Horizon 6 Treasure Hunt Locations" actually lists the nine permanent Treasure Cars instead of the weekly chests. The weekly hunt is one chest that rotates each Thursday. The nine Treasure Cars sit in the open world from the start of the game and never move. Finding all nine is what unlocks the achievement, and it has nothing to do with this series.
Do I keep the chest if I find it but do not smash it before the reset?
We do not know. We looked for a source that tests it either way and did not find one, in editorial coverage or in community threads. Rather than guess, the practical advice is to smash it when you find it.
