NEXT RESET Thursday 14:30 UTC

Every hunt, kept on record.

Weekly Treasure Hunts rotate out and the write-ups about them scatter. This is the running record of the ones we have found a source for — 6 so far, 4 with a location, 1 re-checked by us in game. It is not complete. The weeks we could not source are named further down rather than quietly left out.

This page changes every Thursday at 14:30 UTC

The Festival Playlist rolls over once a week, on Thursday at 14:30 UTC, and a new Treasure Hunt goes live with it. Whatever was current becomes history at that moment — the chest stops spawning, the Playlist entry disappears, and the guide you had open is now about a hunt nobody can do.

That is the entire reason this page exists. One more row lands here every week, and the row that was at the top last week does not get deleted or overwritten. If you are reading this on a Wednesday, the table below is as complete as it will be for another day; if you are reading it an hour after the reset, the newest hunt may not be in it yet, because we would rather add it late than add it wrong.

The one-week window is not just our reading of the reset schedule. GamesRadar dated it on the way out for the Tokyo City hunt: this chest will become unavailable from 2:30pm UTC on June 18 and it’s also the last Treasure Hunt of the Series — 2:30pm UTC being the same 14:30 UTC in another dress. GamesRadar+, 21 May 2026

Nothing is marked live at the moment — the Playlist has rolled over and we have not confirmed the new location yet. The front page says so plainly rather than leaving last week's answer up.

The record

Every Forza Horizon 6 Treasure Hunt we have a source for, newest series first. Two columns are quotes from whoever covered that week — where nobody wrote anything down, the cell stays empty.

Narrow screen? The table scrolls sideways on its own — the page does not.

Two of those columns are other people's words

Difficulty is not a score we assigned. We have not played every one of these weeks, and a five-star rating invented after the fact is exactly the kind of number that looks authoritative and means nothing. So the column only fills in when a named editor at a named outlet said something about how hard that week was, and the cell carries their sentence and links to it. 2 of 6 rows qualify.

What people got wrong works the same way and is even sparser. It fills in when a source describes where the search actually went sideways — the Hokubu photo being snow and a shed in a region that is snow and sheds, the Tokyo City chest being easy to spot and awkward to reach. Where no one wrote that down, the cell is a dash. A dash means we have nothing, not that the week was easy.

The most fun—and challenging—one is the Hokubu region Treasure Hunt. The only clue you’re given is of a wooden house next to a snow-covered road. A pretty broad search area if you ask me. PC Gamer, 30 July 2026

The Forza Horizon 6 Tokyo City Treasure Hunt is the hardest to find of the current Festival Playlist Series, requiring you to explore the ramp-filled warehouses of the port area. GamesRadar+, 21 May 2026

Our check is the one column that is about us. Re-checked means someone here went to the spot in game on the date shown. Sourced only means we are relaying a find and naming who found it. Nothing to check means the entry exists because the week happened, but no location was ever recorded anywhere we could reach. The methodology page has the long version of what earns each label.

What is missing, and why

An archive that does not know its own holes is just a list.

PC Gamer alone has published 7 weekly hunt guides between 2026-05-22 and 2026-07-30. We have 6 entries. The gap is not a mystery — it is work we have not finished — and until we do, the honest thing is to point at the weeks we know we are missing:

  • Sotoyama, covered 2026-07-02: Next to a small wooden hut in the snowy hills in the far north of the region, near the Alpine Heights danger sign. Not in our table yet, because we have not checked it or written the entry. PC Gamer — Sotoyama region Treasure Hunt
  • Nangan, covered 2026-07-16: By the warehouses and silos northeast of the Irokawa Space Center, close to the launch pad. Not in our table yet, because we have not checked it or written the entry. PC Gamer — Nangan region Treasure Hunt

Sending you to a competitor mid-page is a strange thing for a site to do. It is still better than the alternative, which is a table with two rows silently absent and no way for you to tell.

A missing week is also not always a missing hunt. Game8 states plainly that one season simply did not have one: Series 1 has 3 Treasure Hunt Locations, with only the Winter Season not having one. — so a hole in Series 1 is the game, not our record. Game8 — Treasure Hunt locations

Series 3 Autumn looks like the same thing happening again, much more recently: Neither of the two lists we have for that week contains a hunt. TheXboxHub’s challenge guide runs to fourteen entries, championships, a Drag Meet, a Speed Zone, a Speed Trap and the Eliminator among them, with no hunt. A community breakdown in the same format puts Collectibles, Smash 20 Tank Lattes in Ine, in the three point slot that the Winter breakdown fills with Treasure Hunt, Hokubu Region. Series 1 Winter looks the same way. So the weekly chest is not quite weekly. A week with no chest is a fact about the playlist, so it belongs in the record as much as a week with one — otherwise the table quietly implies we lost the entry. TheXboxHub — Series 3 Autumn playlist (23–30 July)r/ForzaHorizon — Series 3 Autumn breakdown (23 July) One source, not two — so read it as “their list has none”, not as a settled fact.

The thinner problem is inside the rows we do have. 2 of 6 entries carry no location at all: we know the week happened and which region it was named after, and that is where the trail ends. Those rows earn their place by marking the week as real. They are not padding, and they are not pretending to be answers.

Series coverage is uneven for the same reason. We hold entries across 3 series — Series 3, Series 2, Series 1 — and none of them is complete. The earliest weeks are the worst documented, because the outlets that cover this game had not settled into a weekly guide format yet when the game launched.
