The one chest set in Hokubu
Hokubu is the only entry on this site with the full chain: four English outlets, a Japanese write-up that names the same flower fields, and a re-check by us. It is also the region VGC says looks larger than it is, because your estate sits in it and you keep passing through. The chest was by a car park north-west of Shikisai-No-Oka — a landmark both source lists put in Hokubu and spell the same way, which is rarer on this map than it should be.
Series 3 Winter — On the side of a parking lot just northwest of the Shikisai-No-Oka flower garden, next to a large garage with water tanks and smaller hardware sheds beside it.
Getting there: From the road on the north side of the flower fields, head for the unmarked parking area and search around it. GamesRadar notes you cannot fast travel directly to the spot, but you can get close.

Open snow with things standing in it
Northern snow country — the player Estate, and the Shikisai-no-Oka flower fields.
VGC says Hokubu looks a lot larger than it is because your estate is here, and that most of the collectibles are tucked around the central farmland rather than out at the edges.

None. Both lists name the same six landmarks in the same region with the same spellings — the cleanest agreement anywhere on the map.

Two sources, and Japanese search does not suggest it alongside 宝探し. 地域一覧.
Asked about Hokubu
Can I fast travel to the chest?
Not directly. GamesRadar says you can get close but not to the spot itself. An earlier version of our entry claimed a specific fast-travel point and a wristband prerequisite; neither word appears in the sources we cited, so we removed both.
What was actually in the clue photo?
Snow and a shed, plus the hay bale scarecrows — GamesRadar’s writer put the whole difficulty on whether you had driven past those before. Without them the photo describes most of the region.
Is this hunt still live?
It ran from 30 July to 6 August 2026 UTC. Once the Playlist rolls over the chest is gone and this page becomes a record. The home page shows what is live now, or says so when nothing is.
What made this one findable
Sotoyama
The other snow region, and the one that shows why Hokubu was findable — Sotoyama’s snow is alpine and enclosed, Hokubu’s sits over open farmland with flower fields in it.
Minamino
The nearest thing to a second confirmed hunt: same pattern of an English and a Japanese source describing one landmark, without the re-check.
Nangan
The only other region where the two landmark lists agree on everything — and the counter-example to this page: same clean sourcing on the region, a chest we still cannot place.
